Alcossebre is a small oasis between the mountains and the sea, right in the heart of the orange blossom coast, and thanks to its temperate and balanced climate it can be enjoyed all year round.

Getting Here.

You can travel to Alcossebre via Benicarlo; by train from Barcelona or Valencia. Arrangements can be made to pick you up from Benicarlo station, approximately 20 minute drive from Alcossebre, or there are plenty of taxis.

Local Cuisine

The famous Valencian paella is prepared in many local restaurants with locally grown rice. Zarzuela, a delicious fish dish is native to the region. For meat lovers, lamb from the inland Maestrat region is a specialty in many restaurants. The wines here in Spain are wonderful, relatively unknown in Britain, and very inexpensive.

Temperatures

We are very lucky with our climate in this area of Spain, with temperatures around 18 degrees centigrade in the winter and 30 in the summer months.
