Restaurants
In Alcossebre and Las Fuentes there are many restaurants serving a wide variety of different cuisine from the traditional foods of Spain like Paella and Zarzuela to Chinese, German, Swiss and Italian cuisine.
The list that follows is only my personal choice and you may find others more to your liking. They are all within easy walking distance so you can leave the car behind and sample the wonderful and inexpensive Spanish wines and Cava.
They are in alphabetical order, and all speak some English.
Benimar

Situated on the promenade between Alcossebre and Las Fuentes.
Benny will serve you while his wife Maria cooks wonderful dishes with a Swiss twist; I just love the rostii. After, Romeo their son will talk you into one of Maria’s home made desserts.
Casa Batiste

Situated on the sea front in Alcossebre.
Juan and his wife Susana run this typical Spanish restaurant and bar. But if you like fish Batiste is the place to eat, there is always the possibility that Juan caught your fish that day while skin diving.
Mare Nostrum

Situated on the corner past the Farmacia.
If you love pizza then this is the place they are traditional and huge, try the house salad to start with but make sure you share it as it too is huge. They also have other Italian specialties on the menu.
Valentin

Situated on the seafront.
You must try this family run restaurant. Try the excellent food served in the restaurant or sit out side and enjoy a beer or café with some tapas. Valentin & LG will make you very welcome.
